The European Directive concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances (REACH), EC No. 1907/2006, has been in effect since June 1, 2007. This regulation shall ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment against the risk related to chemical agents.
