Proveo AG offers fleet management services at airports. The optimization of ground services in the movement area can yield immense cost savings, so that the use of such a system amortizes itself in just a short period of time. Based on Proveo’s application of a related interface definition, PHYTEC was in a position to provide consulting services in a very early stage of the project. Thanks to the exact instructions provided by Proveo and the know-how PHYTEC brought to the table, a complete device was created with PHYTEC also developing a supplementary electronic solution. PHYTEC integrated GPS and GPRS functions into the periphery. Linux driver adaptations had to be performed for this special application. PHYTEC successfully handled the CE and E1 certification for the customer. PHYTEC manufactures and delivers the complete device.
