Specializing in vehicle diagnosis, samtec has emerged as an automotive industry think tank over a period of more than 20 years. HSX  –  modular high-performance interface (VCI) with PowerPC-Core by PHYTEC for computer-supported communication with control devices. The HSX Interface is integrated into tool chains based on the latest MVCI standards based on ISO 22900 in the automotive development environment. The extremely high data throughput and the precise time synchronization make it possible to analyze networks with high speed bus solutions such as FlexRay.
PHYTEC and samtec joined forces in an early phase of the development to optimize the processor core based on phyCORE-MPC5200B-tiny. The use of a standard module and the experience of the PHYTEC engineers concerning processor configuration and interface control under the Sciopta operating system have made an essential contribution to shortening the development time. PHYTEC delivers a customized standard module.
