phyCARD-XL2

Overview

Description

With the OMAP44xx product range, Texas Instruments is primarily targeting customers with high quantities in the consumer market. TI is seeking access to the industrial market for this product in collaboration with a few selected partners. We are proud to be one of these partners. The OMAP4 offers computer power in the GHz range with striking graphics. A phyCARD with high computing power for totally new applications. The module will be available from the second quarter of 2012.

Top Features on a view

  • The pin assignment of the module connector is identical on all modules in the phyCARD range.
    (X-Arc embedded bus)
  • Scalable beyond the controller architecture
  • Simplification of baseboard development by reduction in complexity
  • Important interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, graphics etc. available
  • Cortex A9
  • OMAP4430 / 4460
  • OMAP4460 with camera interface
  • 1 GHz (1,5 GHz)

Remark

Some combinations of options may not be used at the same time. This may result from limitations caused by architecture of the processors (e.g. multiple use of processor pins).
