Overview

phySYS the smartest way to your individual HMI Panel

Most human-machine interfaces have a very similar structure:
A display, touch and / or keyboard, Ethernet, and maybe a few more interfaces such as USB or CAN. All this provided with appropriate computing power and an enclosure - and you have an HMI. To implement the small differences that make up an individual HMI into series production of a cost optimized product is the great challenge.

In general, low volume cost will be achieved by an optimized layout and a smart design of the overall device. A modular Super-HMI ", which can be customized by adding different modules would be too expensive and could not be space-optimized. Hence a custom layout of the main board is an important component for success. But if this layout is started from scratch for each HMI, the development costs would be correspondingly high.
The answer: A "standard" specification with multiple choice options and corresponding circuitry solutions. This is in simple words the definition of our customizable HMI concept. We assigned the generic term "phySYS" to all possible variants therein.

Your advantage: All circuitry solutions which correspond to the options of the specification are field-tested. We have already taken care off possible "complications" which might occur when combining the different options. A suitable power supply will be chosen from a set of standard power supplies based on the power consumption which is known in advance. The display interfaces are adapted for a set of predetermined displays of different size and resolution. Approved protective measures to ensure compliance with typical standards are available.

The concept for an enclosure – if part of the delivery – is also modular. The appropriate processing power is provided by the use of our scalable phyCARD series SBCs.

Your added value: You are able to easily compose your individual HMI from the well defined multiple choice options of our "standard" specification" and you will quickly get your price optimized series product with low development costs.
