Description:

The compact phyCORE-i.MX 6 module offers very good prerequisites for integrating sophisticated image processing into compact devices. The heart of the module is the i.MX 6 processor from NXP, which is based on the ARM Cortex-A9. It is optionally available as a single, dual or quad-core version with up to 1,2 GHz each. The i.MX 6 has two independent camera inputs with integrated preprocessing (IPU and VPU).

The two camera interfaces of the i.MX 6 controller are available as parallel inputs on the phyCORE module. The ready-made phyCAM camera modules from PHYTEC can be connected very easily.

On the software side, the camera modules and camera interfaces of the controller are mapped as a V4L2 interface and can be easily integrated into the application software. On the carrier board (100 mm x 72 mm) is a camera interface as a serial phyCAM-S/S+ - interface brought out. Due to the flexibility of the standardized camera interface, the kit can also be used with other phyCAM-S/S+ cameras can be combined. We will be happy to advise you and put together your individual kit.

In addition to the phyCORE-i.MX 6 module with carrier board, the scope of delivery of the kit also includes the camera module VM-010-BW-LVDS-M12 (WVGA resolution, monochrome). The camera is supplied with an M12 lens holder and matching lens f=12mm. The contents of the kit include the required connection cables and LinuxBSP and manual included.
