CALIPRI_ High-end measuring device from Nextsense

Nextsense develops hand-held measuring devices for non-contact profile measurement. For example, rail accidents can be avoided through highly accurate wheel profile evaluations. Based on PHYTEC standard components, Nextsense was able to develop the high-end product CALIPRI quickly and effectively.

Application

  • Optical capture of 2D geometries using laser light section technology
  • Evaluation of the object contours and comparison with user-specific limit values
  • Output of measured values ​​and deviations on the sensor display

  • Use of the standard camera module VM-010-BW-LVDS
  • Use of the controller module phyCORE-i.MX 6 Quad Core
  • Advice and support from PHYTEC in the development and series phase
