IVU.ticket.box _ Embedded system for local public transport

Upgradeable hardware modules turn the on-board computers and ticket printers IVU.box.server and IVU.ticket.box into a networked control center in buses and trams.

For the Berlin IT specialist for public transport IVU Traffic Technologies, we took on the challenge of developing and manufacturing the integrated on-board computer IVU.ticket.box. The complete device prints tickets, scans barcodes, validates e-tickets and controls peripheral devices. An optional payment terminal accepts credit and debit cards, with PIN entry or contactless. Thanks to the touch display, drivers can use the interface quickly and intuitively, even in hectic everyday life.

An individual electronics and server development - today based on the phyCORE-i.MX 6 -, the manufacture of the housing and all the necessary certifications are part of the complete electronics development.

Due to the different requirements of customers, IVU uses optional device components for the IVU.ticket.box, which we also repair and maintain. We quickly put further developments, discontinuations or higher performance requirements into practice using the rapid prototyping process.
