The i.MX 7 series is a generation of energy-efficient and well-equipped application processors.

The i.MX 7 series is characterized by a first-class power efficiency of the computing core with 15,7 DMIPS / mW and a new 'Low Power State Retention' mode (LPSR) with 250 µW, which can be operated via an ARM Cortex-A7 as well as an ARM Cortex-M4 core. In combination with NXP's new companion chip PF3000 PMIC, these technologies unlock the potential for completely innovative, safe and energy-efficient end products.
