Your tasks:

  • Board bring-up of new PHYTEC hardware
  • BSP Adjustments in the bootloader, kernel and Yocto
  • Implementing new features in all BSPcomponents
  • Debugging functional and performance issues
  • Technical support of customer-specific projects
  • Evaluation and implementation of system solutions (user space programming, various programming languages, middleware and frameworks)
  • Upstreaming sustainable implementations

 

Your profile:

  • Previous experience in developing boot loaders, operating systems or build environments desirable
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and software development under Linux
  • C, Python and Bash are no foreign words to you
  • Experience with an SCM, (e.g. git)
  • Quick grasp
  • Ideally experience with issue trackers
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage
  • Measuring with a multimeter and oscilloscope is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in German and English
  • Passionate about open source development
